Blue Surge Marketing Agency is seeking skilled and professional team members to support daily operations and procedures.

As a team member of our agency, you will have the opportunity to help our firm fulfill our mission of helping small business owners and organizations with their digital marketing efforts. In this role, you will assist in a myriad of digital marketing, website, and administrative tasks. You will be tasked with research projects, data entry, performing clerical duties, managing internal company records, sending cold emails, assisting in basic project management, and more importantly, make a significant contribution to our execution plan.

Daily responsibilities are assigned upon onboarding based on core competencies and include:

We are looking for an experienced, Account Manager who can function as the liaison between our clients and our team as well as provide administrative support to our agency. This position requires speaking to clients regularly on the phone / Zoom.

This is a graveyard shift / American EST time zone, Monday – Friday and requires 6 – 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is able to produce to create and design world-class online marketing collaterals and:

  1. Can converse with clients via Zoom and Slack

  2. Manage a roster of clients and all communication

  3. Conduct regular touch base calls with clients

  4. Understand clients’ objectives and work closely with them by identifying client business needs and recommending actionable items to support their growth

  5. Think creatively – collaborate with clients to discuss and identify their areas of opportunity

  6. Provide and communicate marketing solutions

  7. Manage our CRM (Pipedrive) by sending follow up emails to prospective leads

  8. Act as the link between client and Blue Surge Marketing Agency by upholding regular communication

  9. Assist in the creation of marketing materials on behalf of the client

  10. Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients

  11. Prepare weekly reports for clients and share findings

  12. Facilitate onboarding for new clients

  13. Function as an administrative assistant by performing general clerical duties needed by the agency including data entry, research, updating files

  14. This position requires “EXCELLENT ENGLISH” skills.

Requirements:

  1. Neutral or American accent

  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  3. Excellent listening, negotiating, and presentation abilities

  4. Team player, this role requires collaboration with the rest of our marketing team

Desired Qualifications (not required but strongly advantageous):

  1. Experience working at a digital marketing agency

  2. Experience marketing to US or Western customers

  3. English at a Mother Tongue level

  4. Experience with different business industries is a huge plus

Responsibilities
 
The ideal candidate is able to produce copy with minimal feedback or input from client. Keywords and context will be provided for:
  • Research on different topics (We are a general agency, so our clients exist in drastically different verticals including fashion, nonprofit, service providers, religious orgs, etc.)
  • Produce copy that will appear on:
    • Website pages, Landing pages, Press releases, Product descriptions, Blog articles, Social media posts, Newsletters & email drip campaigns, Ads on social media + Google, Courses, Case studies, etc.
 
Requirements:
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in American English language
  • WordPress / YOAST experience
  • Excellent researcher (all of our clients are in different niches)
  • Understanding of how SEO affects copy
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously + meet fast changing deadlines
  • Team player, this role requires collaboration with the rest of our marketing team

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, creative, and result-driven Website Developer to join our growing team. As a Website Developer, you’ll be responsible to build, launch, and maintain our client’s WordPress and Shopify websites. You will be working closely with our entire team including the CEO. We want a skilled WordPress and Shopify developer that can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client and complete projects on deadlines.

This position would suit a proactive person who is excited to be involved with a growing business where you will have the opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table, improve existing processes, learn new skills, and play a key role in helping our fast growing company succeed at the highest level.

Key Activities:

  • WordPress Design – Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration, creating the website architecture. Conducting website performance tests. Troubleshooting content issues. Designing and implementing new features and functionality. Our client sites are built using a page builder, Elementor + Astra theme.
  • Shopify Design – Same as above, but using Shopify ecosystem. Deep understanding of ecommerce design elements. Strong SEO knowledge. Knowledge of Shopify’s theme development and liquid templating.
  • WordPress Management – Performing content updates and maintenance for our WordPress clients. Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Configuring Apps & Plugins – Understanding the best plugins or apps used to extend the functionality of a client website without slowing the site down.
  • Communicating with Clients – Sharing project updates with client and collecting any necessary information from them to bring site to completion as well as conducting training with the client after launch. Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
  • This position requires “EXCELLENT ENGLISH” skills.
  • You will also need to be up to date with the latest website design, UX/UI trends and various digital technologies. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS is a big plus, but not required.
  • Hours are flexible although timelines must be adhered to on all tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer and Shopify designer
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Expert knowledge of Shopify’s admin system
  • Knowledge of Shopify’s theme development and liquid templating
  • Experience working with 3rd party Shopify apps
  • Knowledge of Elementor (or Beaver Builder) + Astra theme on WordPress is a plus
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

  • Content Marketing – Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
